As an exclusive Colorado builder for nearly 50 years, Sheffield understands the local market and the diverse needs and preferences of discerning home buyers. It was not until the early 2000s, however, that increasing client demand led Sheffield to expand by opening the Finished Basements & More division of the company. A serendipitous decision it turned out to be, as the subsequent market drop of that decade caused would-be new-home buyers to re-evaluate current living situations and seek stay-in-place solutions. Finished Basements & More filled a needed niche with options for finishing existing space in clients’ homes.
