Starting with more than 1,800 of unfinished square footage in the basement, our clients opted for a plan with 1,500 sq. ft. of finished space, leaving a generous amount as unfinished storage. You’d never know the unfinished storage exists, however, as an oversized wet bar and eating area greets you at the bottom of the stairs (double doors to the storage area are found next to the bathroom.
Beautiful wood-look plank tile covers the floor in the wet bar area, providing a durable yet chic surface for entertaining and refreshments.
The bar opens conveniently to a large seating and entertainment area, featuring an abundance of space for game-playing, movie watching, reading, or simply lounging.
When it’s time to get moving, there’s gym equipment stationed in a small wing off of the rec room area, keeping it close enough to be accessible, yet tucked out of the way of living spaces.
A second seating area is placed between the windows, offering comfortable seats for everyone. The wealth of recessed can lighting keeps the entire basement bright and cheerful, but can be dimmed as desired.
Seen from this angle, the true vastness of the space is evident. There’s room for a pool or ping pong table, or just plenty of space for the kids to play. The storage room double doors can also be seen, which lead to the 300 sq. ft. unfinished storage area.
